Everyday billions of searches are made on Google from all over the world.If you own an e-commerce website and your checkout page or old product pages have been indexed in google then you should de-index them.Even if  you have a personal website or blog and have removed some indexed pages  from it then you should also de-index them from Google otherwise visitor to those pages will see 404 error which is not good for Seo of your website.
If you have just created a page and don’t want it to get indexed you can use robot meta tag in the <head> section of  your page.

If your page has been already indexed then you should follow the below steps to remove it from google.

How to Remove Any Link From Google Search:-

  • Login to your Google Account.
  • Go to Google Webmaster Removal Tool click here.
  • Now you will be on My Removal Request Page and click on the New Removal  Request.

  • Give the URL of link that you want to remove and click on continue.
  • Select any reason why you want to remove this link and click on Submit Button.
It will take some time like 2-3 days to completely de-index you URL from the results.
